Child Safety Standards
Last updated: March 22, 2025
Purpose
This page sets out Stono’s standards regarding child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Stono includes social features; we take child safety seriously and maintain these standards to protect minors and support lawful use of our service.
Zero tolerance
We do not tolerate child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the sexualization of minors, grooming, trafficking, or any content or conduct that facilitates CSAE. Violations result in immediate content removal, account termination where appropriate, and reports to competent authorities when required by law.
Prohibited content and conduct
Users must not use Stono to:
- Share, request, or solicit CSAM or any sexual depiction of minors
- Sexualize minors or engage in grooming or predatory behavior toward minors
- Coordinate harm to children or facilitate exploitation
- Circumvent our rules or safety measures
Stono is intended for users who meet the age requirement in our Terms of Service. Content in the app is limited to stone-related photos and community interaction as described in those terms; images of people (faces or full figures) are not permitted.
Reporting child safety concerns
You can report child safety concerns in the Stono app using the reporting tools available for content and users. Reports are reviewed promptly. For questions specifically about CSAE/CSAM prevention, compliance, or law-enforcement matters, contact the designated address below.
Enforcement and cooperation
We investigate reports, remove violating content and accounts when warranted, and preserve information as needed for safety and legal compliance. Stono complies with applicable child-safety laws and, where required, reports to regional and national authorities.
